Ready-To-Go Teacher Created Activities

Labor Day is a national holiday observed in United States, Puerto Rico and Canada. Observed on the first Monday in September, this federal holiday has been celebrated since the 1894. This holiday was created to honor working people. Originally celebrating the form of labor unions and  laws which lead to better working conditions, Labor Day now signifies the end of summer and a day of rest and recreation.
